Ruth Ennis is an Irish aspiring children's writer, based in Kildare. She has a B.A. in English with Drama from UCD and an M.Phil. in Children’s Literature from TCD. She has written poetry, short stories, and essays for a number of publications. She was a Young Writer Delegate with The Irish Writers Centre for the International Literature Festival Dublin and was selected for the Words Ireland Mentorship Programme. She was recently awarded funding from the Arts Council Literature Bursary. You can find her online at @rurooie.
